Gates to enter the park open at 5:30am to 6:00am depending on the season. Gates close between 5:30pm and 6:30pm. Gates open earlier if you're staying in a rest camp. Get a month by month breakdown of the hours here.

The speed limit on the tarred roads in Kruger National Park is 50km per hour. On the gravel roads, it's only 40km per hour. You may think these are very low limits, but when you're earnestly looking for animals, you'd be lucky to go past 30km an hour.
