The lovely Sunset Dam is on the doorstep of Lower Sabie Rest Camp. Park your car at the dam. Watch the game come and go for a drink and see the most enormous crocodiles on the banks. Sunset Dam is also home to a number of hippos and water birds, such as the black-winged stilt.

Lower Sabie Rest Camp is in southern Kruger National Park. It's a convenient day's drive from these surrounding rest camps:
