Kruger Lower Sabie Rest Camp sits on the mighty Sabie River which runs through the national park. Lower Sabie is one of our favourite Kruger National Park rest camps. It has a beautiful setting overlooking the river and lots of facilities. The accommodation options range from camping all the way through to guest houses. The lovely Sunset Dam is on the doorstep of Lower Sabie Rest Camp. Park your car at the dam. Watch the game come and go for a drink and see the most enormous crocodiles on the banks. Sunset Dam is also home to a number of hippos and water birds, such as the black-winged stilt.
